Privacy Policy

VedicEdge is a Vedic astrology app. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. In short: your details stay on your device, there are no ads, no third-party analytics, no accounts, and your personal information is never sold.

Information you provide

• Birth details — name (optional), date, time and place of birth, used to compute your chart and readings.
• A second person's birth details — only if you use the compatibility feature. Enter another person's details only with their permission.
• Your questions — the text you ask about your chart.

Information collected automatically

A random, app-generated identifier and your IP address are used for free-usage limits, security and abuse prevention. They are not used to identify you personally or to build a profile.

How your information is used

Your details and questions are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) solely to compute your chart, generate your reading, produce voice audio when requested, and prepare your daily sky summary. They are used to answer your request and for nothing else.

What we do not do

• No advertising or ad networks.
• No third-party analytics or tracking.
• No selling or renting of personal information.
• No accounts, passwords, or access to your contacts.

Storage

Your saved birth details, preferences and reading history are stored locally on your device. On our side we retain only the minimal technical information required to operate usage limits and keep the service secure.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers strictly to run the app: cloud hosting and delivery, AI language generation for readings, speech synthesis for voice, place-name lookup to locate your birth place and timezone, and a subscription management service that tells our server whether a device holds an active plan. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play; we never see or store your card details. Each provider processes information only as needed to provide its function.

Notifications

Morning notifications are scheduled on your device. We do not collect push tokens.

Data deletion

Deleting the app (or clearing its storage) removes everything stored on your device. To also remove the minimal usage data held on our side, email acommonman1719@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Children

VedicEdge is intended for users aged 13 and above and is not directed at children.

Changes

Updates to this policy will be posted at this address with a new date above.
